Ever since Apple announced the Apple Watch, everyone’s been trying to jump on the smartwatch bandwagon. Well, now it’s Casio’s turn. The Casio’s EQB-510 might seem a little more basic compared to other smartwatches, but we know the brand can manufacture a great timepiece so we’re all on board.
The EQB-510 connects to your phone via Bluetooth, with means you can perform various function such as change the time based on where you are in the world. It also has the capabilities to show two time zones at once if you’re travelling abroad.
One of the most important features that the Bluetooth enables is a phone location feature. With the press of a button on your watch, your phone will sound an alarm helping you to find it.
Changing the battery will also never be an issue with the Casio EQB-510 smartwatch either as it’s solar powered. As a by-product, the neo-display soaks up the sun’s rays and uses them to illuminate the watch when in the dark.
Compatible with either iPhone or Android devices, it’s also resistant to vibrations thanks to the aplhaGEL silicone-style material that surrounds the watch.
The watch itself has a sapphire crystal scratch-resistant glass, possesses a stainless steel case and band. It’s out this April for around £300 from H. Samuel stores as well as on the Casio Website.
