Converse are launching a brand new version of, what we think must be the most popular trainer of all time: the Chuck Taylor All Star. Pretty much everyone has a pair of Converse thanks to their amazing swiss-army knife type versatility for style; perfect coupled with almost every single look – maybe not swimwear though? So, what is new about the inventively named the Chuck Taylor All Star II?
Having been kept a secret for a short while before bursting out onto the internet this week in a series of teases, full images of what you all will be wearing on your feet have finally been released. Its taken 98 years to bring out the new Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II… in that time human beings have been to the moon, fought world wars, invented emojiis and given more one Oscar to Ben Affleck.
The new range of All Stars will be dropping in both the popular hi-top style as well as the lows, and in their ever popular wide range of colours. This being the initial release, we expect it to be a quick hit, with further designs and collaborations coming in the near future.
Borrowing some of that fancy foam from Nike, they’ve incorporated a Lunarlon sockliner to give even more comfort to the shoe, with a perforated micro-suede breathable liner, non-slip padded tongue and a foam padded collar to give your angle a snug embrace. This all comes together to give you something comfortable, wearable, stylish and back on the front foot of shoe tech. Tech might be updated, but the style and class will last forever. Detailing such as the fully embroidered All Star patch adds a premium touch to the original style.
Keep your eyes peeled, as they go on sale in a matter of days. Prices start from £54.99.
