Ellesse Heritage Anzia Trainers

For Spring/Summer 2015, Italian sportswear giants Ellesse has embraced one of its original footwear greats this season, reissuing its classic Anzia model.
Ellesse has seen a bit of a revival in the past year with sportswear making its way to the high street. The brand’s heyday was throughout the eighties and nineties, where the company was a key player in the British youth subculture.
The newly tweaked Heritage Anzia trainer retains its simple tennis shoe silhouette, along with its original branding and now retro-feel logo.
A clean white leather upper adds a contemporary touch, while a new low-cut ankle ensures comfortable wear, on or off the tennis court. Coming complete with two pairs of coordinating laces, the only real choice you’ll be making is whether you fancy the all-White or Navy-lined pair.
Believe it or not, Ellesse’s real heritage lies in skiing as well as tennis. Both sports are combined to form the iconic Ellesse logo.
Priced at £55, you’ll find the Ellesse Heritage Anzia trainers at Office.
