Farah Autumn/Winter 2015

Retro-inspired menswear brand Farah seem to be turning towards a smarter direction this Autumn/Winter following the release of their collection for the season.
The range is titled ‘Tribal Gathering’ and draws inspiration from “men in their search for belonging, community and modern ritual.” While the collection is undoubtedly less sportswear-inspired than previous collections, Farah are still offering up garments that maintain functionality as well as looking great.
Taking a more understated approach to its usual line-up of sporting pieces, Farah are offering Joes more sophistication in the cooler seasons with a collection that sees roll necks, collared jackets, cropped wool trousers and long-sleeved polo shirts all feature.
Rich earthy tones feature heavily in the unmistakably Autumn range with Charcoal, Black, True Navy, Bordeaux and Camel all dominating the lookbook, while contrasting bursts of colour are provided by Blue Sapphire, Crushed Berry, Red Chilli and Marine to highlight seasonal hues.
Our favourites in the collection includes the Coppice Fairisle Sweater in True Navy, a crew neck knit which features an all-over Fairisle pattern and an embroidered Farah logo. We also like the Steen Long Sleeve Shirt in Gravel, an Oxford style slim-fitted shirt – the likes of which are essential to any Joes’ wardrobe.
We love a jacket here at Average Joes and, in our opinion, the Partridge Wadded Jacket in Poppy is the best in the collection. The ripstop styled zip-jacket is perfect for those slightly warmer Autumn days where the rain is inevitable.
The Farah menswear Autumn/Winter 2015 collection is available now from the Farah Website with prices ranging from £55 pound for the Steen shirt to £80 for the Coppice knitwear and Partridge jacket.
