Fred Perry x Bradley Wiggins Autumn/Winter 2015

It seems like yesterday Fred Perry announced their first collaboration with seven-time Olympic medallist Bradley Wiggins. But believe it or not, Fred and the gang have just announced their 8th with Britain’s first Tour de France winner. Say hello to the Fred Perry x Bradley Wiggins Autumn/Winter 2015 collection!

Just like in previous collections, Bradley Wiggins yet again reworks iconic Fred Perry garments with streamlined performance details inspired by classic cycling wear and his well-documented love for mod styling.

For us, the stand out in the collection is undoubtedly the Fred Perry x Bradley Wiggins Half-Zip Cagoule in Mustard Yellow. Made from cotton with a durable PU coating, it comes with a front pouch pocket with hand slots and concealed press studs. There’s an adjustable hood stored inside the zip neck and features elasticated cuffs and also a back flap pocket.

We also adore a new addition to the collection in the Cropped Parka, a classic fishtail jacket with sports-inspired elements. Press studs adjust the hemline and tighten the cuffs and contrast is provided with Mustard Yellow binding.

Classic Fred Perry polos naturally feature too and have been given some quintessentially Wiggo cycling highlights on the cuffs. The Stripe Cuff Shirt in Dark Carbon is our personal favourite but you prefer some knitwear, the zip neck collar Tipped Cycling Shirt will be right up your street and should provide some interesting texture.

There’s also the welcomed addition of some footwear to the Fred Perry x Bradley Wiggins range this season with the Stockport and Kendrick silhouettes clearly inspired by early casual wear. Both models are available in either suedes or leather.

We love the Fred Perry and Bradley Wiggins collaboration and can’t think of too many partnerships that fit as seamlessly. The Half Zip Cagoule and the Cropped Parka come in at £150, while the Tipped Cycling Shirt will set you back £65. The new footwear additions start at £65. The Fred Perry x Bradley Wiggins Autumn/Winter 2015 collection is now available at the Fred Perry Website.
