G.H.Bass Introduce Some Suede for Summer 2018
Summer has fully arrived. But with the warmer weather presents some wardrobe decisions. And your footwear is where things can get really complicated. But this season, G.H.Bass & Co. have introduced some refreshing summer-ready shoes, ideal for those casual days where you still want to be looking on point. Introducing the G.H. Bass Summer Suede range.
Originating from shoemaker George H Bass in 1876, G.H. Bass shoes have reputation like no other. The shoe of choice for the likes of tennis matches and arctic expeditions, their shoes have been worn by politicians and pop stars alike, thanks to their comfort and uncompromising style.
Highlighting the Summer Suede collection, the Weejun was originally created in 1936 as a new spin on a Norwegian farm shoe. Designed for ‘loafing in the field’ the Weejuns was the world’s first penny loafer, and for summer 2018 the iconic loafer has been updated with timeless earthy tones and suede.
Hand stitched in El Salvador, the carefully selected and superbly soft suede provides a perfectly lightweight and comfortable summer shoe. Whether attending a summer wedding, garden party or packing for a city break, the Weejuns is comfortable, stylish and versatile for every occasion.
Also available in the summer collection is the classic Monogram loafer – complete with tassels – and the Camp Moc slip-on deck shoe. But our favourite is the Wilton Driver. Perfect for those days in the pub garden, the Wilton derives from a traditional hand-sewn Indian moccasin and features an internal memory foam for ultimate comfort.
The G.H. Bass Summer Suede collection is available now over at the G.H. Bass Website where prices start at £100 for the Wilton. The Weejuns range starts at £125.
