Luxury Swiss watchmaker Hublot has just announced a partnership with online watch retailer The Watch Gallery with the creation of two limited edition timepieces; the Classic Fusion and the Classic Fusion Chronograph 45mm Special Editions.

Hublot x The Watch Gallery Classic Fusion

The collaboration was celebrated last night at London’s Ace Hotel in Shoreditch and marks Hublot’s vision is to develop luxury timepieces that ‘fuse’ tradition with innovation. This philosophy is proudly boasted with the ‘Classic Fusion’, a collection which combines exceptional craftsmanship with cutting-edge design.

Inspired by avant-garde designs which first launched by Hublot back in the early 1980s, the Special Edition watches both feature satin-finished titanium cases with highly distinguishable H-shaped screws.

The Watch Gallery’s signature Blue case-back adds some uniqueness to the timepiece while still keeping things nice and subtle. The Blue trend continues with a Blue sun-ray satin-finished dial as well as on the strapping where Joes get a choice of rubber or rubber-lined alligator, both in Blue.

Thanks to the titanium build, these watches are strong, tough, lightweight, anti-corrosive and hypoallergenic. The watch itself is powered by the HUB1143 automatic calibre and gives Joes 42 hours of power reserve.

While the Classic Fusions only differ slightly in design, they change the look of the watch considerably. The Chronograph has polished rhodium-plated hands and a Blue chronograph second hand giving it an almost sporty look, while the Classic Fusion is a much more classic affair and serve as the perfect everyday watch.

The Hublot x The Watch Gallery Classic Fusion watches are available now at The Watch Gallery’s prestigious Hublot outlets: The Wonder Room, Selfridges, Oxford Street, London/The Watch Gallery, Selfridges Manchester Exchange/The Watch Gallery, and Westfield; as well as at The Watch Gallery Website. The Chronograph costs £9,500, while the Automatic is £7,500.
