Jaeger Washing Machine-Friendly Wool Suit
While it’s summer, it’s also officially wedding season and your suit is going to take a battering. Which means unless you’re living the high life and have a vast array of three pieces tucked away for an inevitably rainy day, your dry cleaning bill is going to go through the roof. Well, Jaeger has just announced its first ever washable suit!
Yes, to save you some money while still keeping your garment game on point, Jaeger have produced a stylish suit range which can be put straight into the washing machine. We know what you’re thinking though – “the material must be rubbish, right?” Wrong!
This slim-fit piece is tailored from Super 120s wool (for a luxuriously soft feel) courtesy of the esteemed Italian mill Reda. The Jaeger washable suit collection is also sleek line-up of single and double-breasted separates, which means you’ve got options too.
Woven in Milan, the suit collection comes with options of Navy, Rust and Charcoal colourways, with each piece said to be robust enough to endure a hard day’s working and evening’s partying and still come up clean.
In order to take care of it, all Joes need to do is simply place the jacket flat in the an accompanying white net wash bag and put turn your machine down to 30 degrees then hang it up to dry as soon as the cycle is done. It shouldn’t need a press but Jaeger say the wool suit can take it if it needs one too.
The Jaeger washable wool suit collection is available now in Navy over at the Jaeger Website, with the remaining colourways dropping online and in stores from August. The trousers start at £110 while the jackets start at the £250 mark.
