Johnny’s Chop Shop Review: London Barbers

It can be a daunting task finding a good barbers in London given the plethora of options and prices which often leave a fair dent in your wallet. But we think we’ve found just the ticket with Johnny’s Chop Shop. Not only have they opened a new flagship barbers just off Carnaby St, they’re also just about to make a foray into the hair products market.

Johnny’s Chop Shop is the creation of London barbers veteran Steven Ross and cosmetics industry expert Miles Dunkley. The vision is to give fashion conscious Joes honest, slick styles with some attitude. They do this with a brand ID which fuses 50s and 60s retro styling with modern day trends.

You may already be familiar with Johnny’s Chop Shop given that they’ve have a residence on the 2nd Floor at Oxford Street’s gigantic Topshop since 2014. But do yourself a favour and avoid the crowds by heading round the corner to the iconic Carnaby St Estate, where they’ve just opened up a quality and affordable barbers offering traditional cuts, trims and shaves, with a wet cut and style starting at just £26.

Johnny's Chop Shop Products
All products possess a perfectly masculine aroma and are made from the highest quality ingredients and formulas. They’re also all been produced right here in the UK apart from the Wild Cat Hair Clay, an everyday sculpting clay which was made in China – hence the Chinese branding on the tin!

Johnny’s Chop Shop new flagship store is located at 33, Marshall Street, right by Carnaby Street, only a couple of minutes’ walk from Oxford Circus Station. Their new range of products will be on sale at Boots nationwide from 19th May with prices starting at £5 and reaching no more than a very reasonable £7.50.
