We at Average Joes like brands with a bit of a maverick streak. Breakthrough British brand Judge & Jury have a simple design ethos, to escape from institutionalised fashion.
The Judge & Jury autumn/winter collection for 2013 attempts to break the mould by providing customers with a combination of rugged & refined fashion, allowing clients to express themselves whilst providing them with functional fashion-forward pieces.
Particular highlights within the AW13 collection include the ‘Rikers’ houndstooth knitted jumper, which features a red and black pattern, a black collar, cuffs and base to add a flash of practical colour to your winter wardrobe. Alongside this the ‘Boneyard’ jeans in a rough and ready distressed shade of mid blue, which features scuffs, creases and wear to equip the rugged urbanite for all the world has the throw at him, coming complete with yellow stitching and silver rivets and buttons.
The ‘Ronnie’ all-over camo-printed fishtail parka, is a real on trend piece, and comes complete with with a fur-lined hood, an internal flash of bold orange colour, and comes stone washed with a dark oily hand finish. This would make a great outer layer on those frozen winter days, protecting from the elements yet simultaneously enabling you to make a statement.
The brand feels gritty, and has a target market of guys that can think for themselves, and don’t mind being different. And we rather like it.
