We’re always interested when a brand and a retailer get together, and one of the best collaborations we’ve seen this year so far is the Le Coq Sportif Palais pack by online retailer ASOS.

Le Coq Sportif x ASOS Palais Pack

Le Coq Sportif x ASOS Palais Pack consists of exclusive editions of the iconic Arthur Ashe and the R900. Inspired by traditional French architecture, the lightweight and resistant styles are made using woven nylon.

Le Coq’s stomping ground, Paris, is the influence and the trainers have been designed to emphasise the culture and history of the aesthetics of Parisian buildings. To further emphasise the French-ness, both silhouettes come complete with Red and Blue accents – synonymous with the France flag and the country’s sporting apparel.

Originally inspired by the classic LCS R1000, the R900 is one of the stars of Le Coq Sportif’s running shoe line. The silhouette is built for comfort and durability and receives extra in both departments thanks to the woven nylon, which also softens up the thick midsole and Dynactif cushioning.

The R900 comes in a clean White colouway with Blue and Red accents on the branded tongue, as well as the Practice logo patch which is embroidered on the side.

But our favourite in the collection is the newly updated Arthur Ashe. This lower profile icon was named in tribute to the legendary American tennis player. It comes in a similarly off-White woven fabric and is the epitome of French-style elegance.

The classic tennis shoe gets its splash of colour from the branded heel panel in Blue as well as the player’s signature – which comes in Red – for a decidedly French sporting look.

The Le Coq Sportif Palais Pack is being sold exclusively at ASOS and will be available from this Friday 11th March 2016. Prices for the R900 and the Arthur Ashe start at around the £65 mark. Check out the ASOS Website for more details.
