Lyle and Scott’s new Carnaby Street store opened at the end of last week, and we went to take a sneak peek. Located in one of the most famous London shopping destinations, Carnaby Street has long been a home to great menswear. And it just got even better.
So what are the talking points of the launch and the new store? Well let’s take a look at what stood out.
Lyle and Scott Carnaby Street certainly fits in to it’s surroundings and boasts a decor that fits perfectly with everything the brand’s heritage has to offer. Golf, golf and more golf. This includes ceiling hanging golf clubs on the bottom floor and two giant Lyle and Scott logo’s made completely out of golf tees. The wooden furniture and vintage feel of the posters and photography used to decorate the store work in perfect harmony with the brand and give you a lot to look at before you’ve even think about the clothes.
For a brand that are quite well known for their plain polos and jumpers that rock that Lyle and Scott eagle, not a whole lot to report in terms of new direction with the fashion bar a few things. If you are a Lyle and Scott fan you’ll probably have noticed a lot more of their ‘cross print’ designs with their T-Shirts, hoodies and argyle jumpers flying about, It is very much as expected, though of course you can expect to find more LE wares as they are released. They also have a number of multi-stitch knitwear pieces, showcasing a range of winter products that are definitely worth taking a look at.
But enough talk, have a look for yourself at the gallery below and if you’re planning a shopping trip to central London any time soon then the new Lyle & Scott Carnaby store is well worth checking out.
