Mark Zuckerberg x H&M
In one of the most unlikeliest partnerships in years, Facebook mogul Mark Zuckerberg has joined forces with high street retailer H&M for a limited capsule collection of re-issued pieces from the retail giant’s basics line. And when they say ‘basic’, they really mean it!
Yes, H&M has apparently announce a new long-term partnership with internet entrepreneur, philanthropist, CEO and Co-Founder of Facebook — Mark Zuckerberg. To celebrate the collaboration, H&M have launched a collection of standard garments from H&M basics line.
While the Facebook founder obviously have little history in the fashion world, his bog standard daily Grey tee and Blue jeans combo has become synonymous with Zuckerberg’s laid back approach to work. So much so that H&M has allegedly decided to release the combo as a collection of seven basic tees and a pair of jeans – all you need for a week at work!
The minimalistic range is said to be intended for both Joes and Janes and was inspired by Zuckerberg’s belief that making simple decisions, like what are we going to wear in the morning, consumes mental energy and gets in the way of life’s more important tasks.
“I really want to clear my life so that I have to make as few decisions as possible about anything except how to best serve this community,” said Zuckerberg. The collection has subsequently been called, ‘One less thing to think about in a morning’.
The Mark Zuckerberg by H&M ‘One less thing to think about in a morning’ collection is apparently due for release in the UK and worldwide on Sunday the 1st May, and will be rolled out in a very select 250 stores across the globe.
We should probably make it clear, however, that this is almost definitely a brilliant April Fools that we definitely didn’t fall for… Judge for yourself at the Mark Zuckerberg x H&M Website.
