New Balance have released the latest iteration of their much talked about 247: the Classic. It’s the third and final style of the 247 rollout, with the Classic a lifestyle version of the brand’s newest silhouette – and we absolutely love it!

New Balance 247 Classic Trainer

Following on from the same sleek lines offered in the Luxe and the Sport renditions, the New Balanced 247 Classic is an all-day style featuring a clean, classic look and comfortable bootie construction. Designed to keep up with your demanding life on the move, the trainer offers New Balance’s trademark lightweight and flexible construction, thanks mainly to its breathable mesh upper.

While the Classic does come in a similar form to the previous versions of the 247, the differences to the Luxe are obvious to the eye, and the most defining difference between the Classic and the Sport are the textures in the toebox and the upper, as well as a slightly altered shape in the tongue and heel.

The 247 Classic unsurprisingly reaps the benefits of New Balance’s REVlite sole unit, which is still present for a lightweight, comfortable ride; and the shoe also uses neoprene sock construction for a performance-inspired technical look.

The mesh upper and unique bootie construction combine for an unrivalled fit that is probably your next go-to shoe for absolutely everything. The Classic is finished off with a welded N logo on the side panels of the upper, a woven label and a two-toned nylon heel pull.

The New Balance 247 Classic trainer is on sale now over at the New Balance Website where a pair will set you back £65.
