In the wake of the Olympics, Nike added a new trainer to their ever growing collection; the Nike Flyknit. It is likely to change the look and build of modern running shoes in the years to come. To cement it’s success, Nike have just unveiled details of the latest model for the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, the Nike Flyknit Lunar1+.
Providing a precision fit, the shoe has an almost sock like feel and it also adapts to the foot of the runner whilst out on your run whether that be over 5 or 25 miles. The revolutionary construction after years and years of research by Nike reduces waste materials in the shoe by up to 80% compared to older Nike models.
This trainer has been incorporated with the very responsive Lunarlon foam, exclusive to Nike. Durable rubber inserts in the outsole deliver maximum impact protection in key areas on the heel and forefoot, a perfect shoe for the neutral runner.
The beauty of the Flywire used in the Nike Flyknit Lunar1+ trainer provides an adaptive support, as well as the precision fit. The Flywire tightens and loosens whilst you wear them to accommodate the natural motion of the foot, supporting where and when you need it.
With all the hype around the Olympics last year and with Christmas and New Year having just been and gone, maybe the start of February release date for these trainers could have been a little sooner, but these are sure to be a big hit during 2013!
