Nocs Atelier Seconds Watch
If you’re a regular follower of our blog, you’ll know that we’re all about minimalism and functionality when it comes to design. While we fall for a cool gimmick every now and then, we’re always drawn back to clean and sleek style. Which is why we love the first watch from Swedish designers Nocs Atelier – the Seconds.
Nocs Atelier is a newly created division of Nocs, an audio products manufacturer at the forefront of Scandinavian innovation. Much like Nocs, the Atelier branch are set to create simple, minimalist design with superb quality and durability.
The first product on its books is this Seconds watch. First thing you’ll notice is the lack of fuss and sleek beauty of the thing. It’s simple to the eye yet deceptively complex which means this timepiece is perfect for any modern urban Joe who wants something that will nail that often difficult balance between work and play.
The watch is produced using a multi-layered process that is equal parts cutting-edge technology and human ingenuity. Seconds’ composition consists of a two-part lugged 40mm sandblasted steel 316 case with a chamfered bezel in brushed finish. The case houses a pair of individual three-hand quartz Japanese movements.
The PVD-coated, matte finish dial comes in two options of either Silver or Rose Gold second hands – for what it’s worth, we’d go for the Silver. Accompanying the watch is a contemporary Black nylon nato strap. It has a 4 year battery life and has a water resistance rating of 5 ATM – so the shower is fine but swimming isn’t!
If you like the style and minimalism of the Nocs Atelier Seconds watch as much as we do then head over to the Nocs Atelier Website where a watch will set you back £180 for either the Silver or the Gold version.
