NYE Party Ready - Peaky Blinders

These is no doubting the impact and level of love for the Shelby’s and the show Peaky Blinders – it is nearly worth the ridiculous TV licence fee alone. Such is the style of the show, EVERYONE seems to have a PB theme to their New Years Eve party and we show you just how to look the part.

For a second forget about the peak and the cap, whilst the namesake of who the actual Peaky Blinders are, there is nothing more important that the suit itself. Modern tailor, Twisted Tailor has even launched their own range aptly named Shelby & Sons.

The range of check or plain wool blend suits scream the early 1900’s with their great fitting silhouettes, simple lines and straight cuts. Whilst we have completely fell for check in this last year, the navy blue with a tiny white spec is our stand out (as seen below).

Now to the accessories, the flat cap is part and parcel but I am not sure you can warrant the spend unless you will wear it not in costume! As such the houndstooth baker boy may be the best of both worlds and enable some casual wear alongside.

Lastly, shoes are ever important – or in this case boots. In and around the 1920’s there wasn’t much in the way of roads, paths and there were certainly no cycle ways! Boots were the footwear of choice and we love the Shelby lace ups below, though I might be tempted with the brown rather than the black.

Whatever you do this NYE, whether it be supporting your local pub or off to a fancy Peaky Blinder’s inspired party – have a cracking time and lot’s of fun! And if you are going to a party, you can shop Shelby & Son range online.

This post was kindly sponsored by Twisted Tailor – all words and thoughts are our own (I actually own 3 different TT suits which I paid for!).
