Omega Seamaster 300 Spectre
Bond is back at the end of October and while nothing will get us more excited than the film itself, we still can’t help but get a little giddy at the new merch that comes along with it. With that in mind, take a look at the Omega Seamaster 300 Spectre, which will be donned by 007 and also go on general sale!
Having worn one of the iconic Omega Seamaster watches since 1995’s Goldeneye, the Omega Seamaster 300 Spectre will be the first Bond watch to be made available to the public and will go on sale this September as a limited edition ahead of the film’s release.
There’s also another difference with the Seamaster 300 in that, unlike the other commemorative Bond timepieces, this watch is identical to the one that Daniel Craig will sport on his wrist in the film.
Based on the truly iconic 50s Seamaster, this timepiece’s stand out feature is its newly added lollipop second hand. The Seamaster Spectre also has a 12-hour diving ceramic bezel that rotates in both directions, a strong homage to the watch’s naval history.
It’s powered by an Omega Master Co-Axial caliber 8400 movement and encased with Omega’s zirconium-based alloy, which Seamaster like to call ‘LiquidMetal.’
There’s plenty of Bond branding too with a Grey and Black striped NATO strap has the 007 gun logo etched into its metal strap holder as well as the SPECTRE logo and the watch’s individual serial number on the back of the case. While we obviously love feeling the limited edition, we do question whether a secret agent should be wearing something that could so easily identify him…
The Omega Seamaster 300 Spectre will retail for around £5,000 ($7,500) and, as it’s limited edition, will only be available to a very apt 7,007 Joes!
