Penfield Spring/Summer ’18 Collection
If you’re a regular reader of Average Joes, you’ll know how much we love New England-based outdoor brand Penfield. Perfectly fusing style, function and durability, Penfield are back for their Spring/Summer 2018 collection.
Blending 40 years of history with innovative design and technical craft, the Penfield SS18 collection sees the New England label build on their collection of modern outerwear with a range of almost retro-inspired tees, parkas and sweats donning contemporary graphics in a variety of summer-ready tones.
For us, the label has always been about jackets. And alongside Penfield classics like the Vassan Parka (£195) and the Gibson Trail Parla (£175), there’s also some great additions to the line-up like Pancho, a heavy duty parka which is both windproof and water resistant.
Our favourite new addition to the Penfield line-up, however, is the gorgeous Davenport (£150) in a vibrant orange colourway. Practical and fashionable, the Davenport jacket is water resistant and wind proof; making it ideal for spring’s unpredictable weather.
But it’s not all about jackets this season with a line-up of tees and sweats ideal for the warmer season. We’ve always been a big fan of Penfield’s shirts too and this season is no different with a range of clean cut styles that will work perfectly over a tee or as a standalone in the evening. The Donaghue Oxford shirt for £80, for example, should do the trick.
The Penfield spring/summer 2018 collection is available now over at the Penfield Website.
In other menswear news, Danish label RAINS has just unveiled some camouflaged additions to their core range for SS18.
