Police Batman v Superman Watch Review
Batman v Superman is only a a few weeks away and our excitement is close to fever pitch already. As usual with big releases, it’s not only the films themselves we look forward to – it’s also all the cool collaborations and merch that comes with it. First up for Batman v Superman are these Limited Edition watches by Police!
To mark the release of the film, Italian design house Police has launched two special timepieces, Batman and Superman. The watches are each designed to reflect the dark forces of nature that are the caped crusader and Clark Kent. We tried one of them on for size to see if we they gave us any super strength or flight capabilities… *Spoiler – they didn’t*
When Police say limited edition, they really mean it too – only 2,400 of the watches will be available worldwide. The unique multi-functional watches are available in a robust Blue and Black stainless steel case and feature the official Batman v Superman logo, alongside the infamous Police branding.
Both Police Batman v Superman models showcase a dramatic mix of tones with the Batman version donning dark knight-inspired Bronze and Black colours, while the Superman watch features up suitably themed Black, Red and Navy accents. Both watches are built for practicality too and feature a date dial, dual time and are also water resistant up to 50 metres (5ATM).
If you want your timepiece to make a statement, and for that statement to be ‘I love Batman and Superman’ then you’ll love these Police watches. The attention to detail is impressive and it’s also extremely functional with dates and time hands all over the face. Be warned though; it is a little heavy on the wrist!
Each Limited Edition Police Batman v Superman watch will come with their very own certificate of authenticity and will be available from 1st March 2016 at selected retailers including on the Watch Shop Website where they’ll be priced at £250. Batman v Superman is released in the UK on the 25th March and if you buy a Police watch in March, you’ll get a complimentary pair of Odeon tickets to see the film!
