What do David Beckham, George Clooney and Antonio Banderas all have in common? Yes, of course they are all Joes who ooze charisma, substance and style but they also wear Police watches!

Police London Watch Review

The Italian brand might not be the first design house you think of when you’re on the lookout for a timepiece but they’ve been producing quality watches since 2003. We tried on their new London bracelet watch for size to see if it turn us into an international superstar too. While that didn’t quite happen, we like what we wore!

First the specs: the Police London watch features a round Silver stainless steel face fitted with a two tone steel IP bracelet strap. The face sees 3 hands and a Black sunray dial with a date feature.

Police London Watch Review 3
The London features a mineral glass case and a contrasting crown, and has a water resistance of 3ATM – or to us mere mortals, it’s water resistant up to 30m. It also comes complete with watch box and a two year guarantee.

It should be said from the off that you’ll know within two seconds whether the London is up your street. For some Joes, big watch faces and steel bracelets are a ‘no-no’ but we think there’s a time and a place for them, and this Police watch is one of the subtlest relatively-chunky watches we’ve worn in a long time. Wearing it doesn’t feel overpowering and we think it could be a great piece of flair to spice up a casual style.

Police London Watch Review 2
In terms practicality, this is not a watch for active workers and possibly not even suitable for business wear but it is perfect for a casual night out and it could even work as a dress watch depending on the garments. Overall, we’d recommend the Police London watch as perfect for a Joe who wants something masculine and powerful without having to break the bank.

We received the Police London watch in Silver/Black but there is also a Brown/Silver available that’s a littles less masculine. They’re both available from various retailers including www.watchshop.com where they’ll set Joes back around £130. You can check out more details on the Police Website.
