PUMA has teamed up with English Artist Sam Cox, better known as Mr.Doodle to release a range of funky and vivid shoes, shirts and other apparel.
Sports fashion meets doodling with the latest range from PUMA. They have collaborated with Mr.Doodle to bring his unique style to their products. The result is a range of vibrant designs that look really quite cool. They’re not so in you face that you’d struggle to pair them with an outfit but at the same time they have a unique level of detail that make you want to take a closer look.
“If doodling were a sport, I think I would have enjoyed P.E. at school,” said Mr.Doodle. “I’m interested in the parallels between sport and doodling, it’s all about energy, I think you can feel that sense of movement when you see doodles. There’s a connection between doodles and sport.”
The range is mostly black and white pieces, with some hints of orange, purple and lavender. A splash of colour rather than an overpowering amount of it. Sam Cox’s “Graffiti Spaghetti” style is all over the collection. It’s almost as if his characters and patterns are exploding out of the product.
The PUMA x Mr.Doodle collection is available from August 14th on PUMA.COM, PUMA stores and selected retailers globally.
