Nobody does rainwear better than the Scandinavians. And one label who’s had that category locked down in the last couple of years are the aptly named RAINS. So while it might be officially summer next week, the Danish outerwear specialist RAINS has just dropped a Pre-Autumn 2019 collection of colourblocked jackets, trousers, bags and caps.
Inspired by streetwear of the 80’s and 90’s, the RAINS ‘Color Block’ collection features a range of outerwear pieces, trousers, bags, and headwear presented in neutral blocked colourways. The collection drew upon everything from portraits of hip-hop legends to ski-slope attire and family holiday photos for references.
Highlights in the collection include the Color Block Tracksuit jacket, a retro, sportswear-inspired piece featuring a hidden hood, water-repellant zipper closure and elastic cuffs, and available in Green/Beige or Ice/Blue. There also a pair of all-new Color Block Pants delivered in Ice/Blue or Black. The Color Block Anorak jacket completes look.
Elsewhere, RAINS has dropped Color Block Bum Bag Mini, a Dad Cap and a classic bucket Boonie Hat, complete with contrasting red drawcords. Each piece in the collection is finished in RAINS’ signature matte-finished water-resistant lightweight fabric.
The RAINS ‘Color Block’ Pre-Fall 2019 collection is available now, with prices ranging from £25 for the Boonie Hat to £109 for the Tracksuit Jacket. See the whole collection over at the RAINS UK Website.
