To celebrate the beautiful Autumn/Winter 2015 collection, esteemed London designer, Oliver Spencer joined forces with iconic photographer and creative director, Rankin to shoot fans of the brand.
The Rankin x Oliver Spence AW15 lookbook brings together some of Oliver’s most esteemed friends, with his favourite chair, shot by his favourite lensman.
There are a whole load of Oliver’s celeb mates who have got involved with the campaign, including the likes of Monocle Magazine Fashion Director and consultant, Take Sato; John Bradbury, drummer of Brit Ska band, The Specials; Alex James, Blur Bassist and new found cheese monger; as well as Radio DJ Nihal Arthanayake.
At Oliver Spencer, they believe that it’s the men who choose to wear their apparel that make the brand: “Without personalities to inhabit them, clothes are just pieces of material, which need to be worn to come alive.”
Oliver Spencer said, “The chance of working with Rankin was too good to be missed, I’ve always loved his work. We decided to base the shoot around 11 of my favourite customers, who are all moving and shaping things in London. I asked Rankin to concentrate on shooting the subjects focusing on their personalities, the end result was very special.”
Our favourite in the collection are the Hamilton Roll Neck for £219, a heavy weight basket woven 100% wool jumper, with a blend of Red, Navy and Cream yarns. We also love the Scafell Jacket Cornell urban performance jacket in Yellow for £359.
The whole Oliver Spencer Autumn/Winter 2015 collection is available now on the Oliver Spencer Website.
