The new Vans Style 36 ‘Patchwork’ pays homage to the history and origins of the Vans brand. Slated as THE original skate shoe, Vans began its journey in sleepy Anaheim, California. In the early days, production runs were so small that customers were able to even select materials, printed details on the midsole, lace choices and colourways.

During this time a ‘promotional’ pair of trainers was produced to promote the different choices you could make when designing your shoe. The new ‘Patchwork’ Style 36 pays homage to this promotion trainer with every single panel on the trainer sporting a different colour.
