Slow Watches

A Joes life can frantic. Sometimes we just need to slow things down a little and take stock. Here to help us along the way is the Swiss-made Slow Watch which comes with a 24-hour watch face.

Slow Watches have a fellow-Swiss Ronda Caliber 505.24H GMT Quartz movement in them which originally has four hands plus the date. But the makers of the Slow Watch decided they only wanted the one hand!

The obvious advantage of the Slow Watch is it allows you to see the entire day in one view. This would presumably fundamentally change the way Joes look at their watch giving them an improved consciousness about the progression of their day and hopefully slow things down a tad.

The second thing you’ll notice after the 24 hour display is the dial doesn’t show a logo – that’s because the makers believe ‘a great product does not need to show any visible branding to be recognised.’ We admire that sort of confidence!

The Slow Watch comes in a 316L stainless steel case comes with a perfectly smooth back which is fixed with 8 screws to the case to ensure 100 meter water resistance.

There are two models so far with the Slow Jo 38mm and the Slow Mo 34mm. Our personal favourite is the Slow Jo 27, which comes in an all-Black Nylon strap with bright yellow rally stripes to give a vintage racing look.

Slow Watches come in a range of straps too which will obvious alter the whole feel of the timepiece. You can get your strap in Stainless Steel Metal, Canvas, Italian Leather, or sporty Nylon. They’re also reasonable priced as well and you can grab one from £190 with prices rising to £230. Get over to the Slow Watches Website for ordering and more spec details.
