Swatch and James Bond Unveil 007 Watch Collection
With the release of No Time to Die now less than two months away, it’s no surprise that affiliated merch is starting to hit the market. And the first James Bond release of note comes from Swiss watchmaking Swatch, who have announced the launch of their collection of 007 inspired watches.
The Swatch x 007 Watch Collection pay homage to the world’s most famous secret agent through a series of watches inspired by the original movie posters and opening title sequences from six classics: Dr.No (1962), On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969), Moonraker (1979), Licence To Kill (1989), The World Is Not Enough (1999) and Casino Royale (2006).
Three of the watches are 34mm in size (License to Kill, Casino Royale, and Dr. No.), while the other three measure in at 41mm and reference The World is Not Enough, Moonraker, and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
There is also a seventh watch in the collection which has been designed by No Time to Die costume designer Suttirat Anne Larlarb alongside Swatch and will be worn by Q in the upcoming film. Unfortunately, as of yet, no images have been released of the final piece of the collection.
Each timepiece in the Swatch x 007 Watch Collection arrives in a box designed to look like VHS tape packaging and will be arriving in stores on 20 February, while the No Time to Die watch is set for a late March release. Find out more over at the 007 Store.
