The Grooming Station, St Pancras International
While us average Joes are becoming more and more aware of skincare, it can still feel like there’s not enough hours in the day to it and ourselves justice. Which is why we love the idea of The Grooming Station, a pop-up at St Pancras International showcasing the crème de la crème in men’s skincare and hair-styling.
The Grooming Station has an eight week residency at London’s commuter hub and offers Joes the chance to get personal advice on their grooming, as well as the chance to test out products from leading men’s skin and haircare brands Bumble and bumble, Clinique For Men, LAB SERIES and Origins For Men.
The Station is the first of its kind and the dedicated Joe’s space gives commuters and shoppers the opportunity to troubleshoot their skin and hair-care woes with the help of expert groomers and stylists.
You don’t even need to go out of your way to get this expert advice. The pop up is located slap-bang in the middle of the Arcade of St Pancras and is open seven days a week. Advice is seriously quick too for you commuters with a ‘Freshen-Up’ Skincare Consultation or a ‘Tidy Up’ Haircare Consultation both taking 5-10mins.
As well as the consultations, you can also get some quick pick-me-ups with OHAYO vitamin water and Sipsmith gin/vodka. Shoe shining is available on certain days with Oliver Sweeney, as is a quick hair trim with Manifesto.
We headed down to The Grooming Station this week and loved what we saw. The experts are friendly, extremely knowledgeable and go about things quickly if time is of the essence. Whether you need specific advice/products or just want an introduction into skincare, there’s something for everyone.
The Grooming Station is situated on the Station Concourse at St Pancras International Station right in the middle of all the shopping area with Gant, John Lewis, Fortnum & Mason and Rolling Luggage all nearby. There’s even a piano provided by Elton John right next to the pop up just to add to the relaxation!
