Timex x Red Wing Waterbury Watch Collection
Two iconic American brands have just join forces to offer up one the sleekest new timepieces of the year so far. The Timex x Red Wing watch collection brings together two brands world renowned in their respective fields.
Originally founded in Waterbury, Connecticut, Timex watchmakers can trace their origins as far back as 1854. Synonymous with innovation and a clean, minimalist approach to watch design, the heritage brand have teamed up with Red Wing Shoe Company, a footwear designer who have around for over 100 years since 1905.
Red Wing are given Timex’s iconic Waterbury watch a makeover. The watch is kept pretty much the same with the similar retro designs and the quality of craftsmanship you’d come to expect from Timex, it’s just been given a new sleek leather strap courtesy of Red Wing.
Using leather from Red Wing’s S.B. Foot Tanning Company, the range includes three new editions to Timex’s Waterbury collection; a 38mm, a 40mm and a new version of their Chronograph model.
All watches in the Timex x Red Wing capsule collection feature vintage-inspired full Arabic dials, stainless steel casing and Red Wing’s signature leather straps, stamped with the brand’s distinctive logo to the strap keeper. They’re also all water resistant up to 50m.
We love the Timex x Red Wing Waterbury watch collection and think it would add some unpretentious class for Joes who need something durable and affordable for the workplace. The collection is available now exclusively at End Clothing, where prices for the collection start a very reasonable £79 and rise to £99 for the chronograph.
