Take a look at the most recent manifestation of Tudor watch-makers partnership with the legendary Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati, the Fastrider Chrono. We think it’s a beauty!

Tudor Fastrider Chrono

Inspired by the non-conformist spirit of the famous Ducati Scrambler, this Fastrider chronograph is a travelling companion that is both technical and exhilarating with a youthful and spontaneous style.

The Fastrider Chrono is available in three models designed to reflect the various Scrambler models: Bright Yellow, the model’s historic colour; Olive Green for a powerful urban look; and Red for a retro-chic effect. Stripped back to the essentials, the dials are legible and colourful, bringing versatility and new-found energy to the Fastrider line.

This is third Fastrider chronograph that Tudor has served up and we think it’s undoubtedly their best. The brushed steel case of the new Fastrider chronograph illustrates its technical nature and performance with its entirely matt finish, a feeling accentuated by the strong contrast created between the matt black ceramic bezel and the push pieces and crown with matt black PVD treatment. Angular and detailed, it recalls the body of a motorcycle.

The 42 mm Fastrider Chrono features a self-winding mechanical movement with a power reserve of approximately 46 hours, and a calendar function with rapid corrector which may be read through an aperture positioned at 4.30. It’s also waterproof to 150 metres/500 feet.

You can get hold of the Tudor Fastrider Chrono with either a black leather strap or a rubber bracelet with folding clasp and safety catch and will cost you around the £3,000 mark. While the watch is made with riding in mind, we think it would work for any Joe who wants to add a splash of colour to their look. Check out the Tudor Website for more details.
