Wrangler x Leatherman Piranha 2 Jeans
Earlier this year American denim giants Wrangler teamed up with toolmaker Leatherman to produce a collection of jeans. Just in time for Christmas, the duo are joining forces once again for a range of jeans ideal for the average Joe.
The new Wrangler x Leatherman collaboration sees contemporary and classic jeans from Wrangler reworked to be twice as strong as regular jeans to suit the Leatherman brand. Perfect for the working Joes, the jeans come water resistant as standard.
The collection sees two Wrangler styles getting the Leatherman treatment. Combining style and functionality, our favourite is the contemporary regular fit, Greensboro. Wrangler’s classic Texas style in regular fit also features and, just like the Greensboro, are available in both dark and lighter washes.
We tried out a pair of the Greensboro for size and think they’re great for Joes who want an alternative to a now-usual skinny fit. The Greensboro feature a regular rise, straight leg and a regular ankle cut.
They’re more contemporary than the Texas style and noticeably durable so they can be worn as an everyday trouser or even while Joes are working outdoors. But be warned, if you want a pair of jeans for some Christmas socialising, you might want something a little more snug.
Reinforced front pockets on the co-branded jeans feature a bespoke pouch for the Leatherman Piranha 2 tool, which comes with the collection. Finished in antique copper to match the iconic Wrangler jean rivets, the multi-purpose pocket tool can tighten screws, loosen bolts, pry things open and, most importantly, pop open your favourite brew.
The Wrangler Texas and Greensboro jeans with Leatherman Piranha 2 are available now from the Wrangler Website where a pair will set you back £85.
