Halloween in the Paris Catacombs

With Halloween coming up, we thought you might fancy something trying a bit different for the spooky season. Which is why we loved the idea of heading over to Paris to spend it with 6 million corpses at the Paris Catacombs!
The travelling Joes’ godsend, Airbnb, are offering the chance for two Joes (or a Joe and a Jane) to spend the night of Halloween in the world’s largest grave site – Paris’ famous catacombs, the final resting place of 6 million souls.
On Halloween night, Joes will journey to the centre of the earth and learn about the eery history of the mysterious subterranean labyrinth. You’ll get to see sprawling network of skulls and bones, as ell as enjoy a specially created culinary experience.
Airbnb are also throwing in a private concert in the most incredible acoustics under the earth just for good measure! If it’s not Alice Cooper, we’d be disappointed… Before bedtime, a storyteller will tell you of some tales from the catacombs and you’ll become the only living person ever to wake up in the Paris catacombs.
Sound like your cup of blood? For a chance to head to Paris, you’ll need to tell the Airbnb host why you think you’re brave enough to sleep in the catacombs in 100 words (English or French).
The Halloween night in the Paris Catacombs is open to couples and friends but only 2 people maximum. Entries close at midnight on the 20th October. Head over to the Airbnb Website for more details!
