Announced back in 2017, The Ritz-Carlton hotel chain has finally launched a luxury yacht and cruise service available for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Dubbed The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, the superyachts will aim to offer the company’s award-winning luxury service and timeless style on the oceans.
Created by The Ritz-Carlton and maritime experts Douglas Prothero and Lars Clasen, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will offer travellers a unique experience on the waves, with the aim to give guests a relaxed, casually elegant and comfortable atmosphere with the highest level of personalised service.
The specially designed small capacity vessel measures in at just 190m long and will accommodate up to 298 passengers in its 149 suites, each of which comes with its own private balcony. The yacht will also feature two 138sqm lavish duplex penthouse suites, with modern craftsmanship and interior finishes jointly designed by The Ritz-Carlton and leading cruise ship design firm, Tillberg Design of Sweden.
The first of the three yachts, the Evrima, will be offering voyages to the Caribbean, Meditteranean, Northern Europe, and Latin America. Amenities on board include restaurants by Michelin-starred Chef Sven Elverfeld, a luxury spa, immersive excursions, and lounges including a cigar and cognac bar called The Humidor.
The first of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is set to sail on 14 June 2020 from Barcelona and will travel around the Balearic Islands for 7 days. Head over to The Ritz-Carlton Website for more details.
