This Is Ground Voyager Wifi Bag
We love a travel bag here at Average Joes and we love them even more when they come with some nifty tech. With that in mind, take a look at the Voyager travel bag by This Is Ground. A beautiful bag, yes, but it also comes with optional portable Wifi!
The Voyager was developed from a basic principle: This Is Ground wanted easy access to essential gear during travel, such as your phone, plugs, pens and notebooks, but also wanted enough space to pack in a long weekend’s worth of stuff. The result is a luxurious, 100% leather weekender with all that plus optional Wifi provided by Karma.
We’ve written about Karma before and you should be warned, it’s annoyingly pretty useless here in the UK. The Karma is a small box that offers a contract-free, pay-as-you-go online service using an existing network company in the States. I.E. you won’t be able to use it here just yet.
But don’t let that put you off the Voyager – the Wifi is optional so you won’t be paying for it if you don’t need it, and the Voyager has plenty to offer without it. It comes with a wide-mouth main compartment which means it’s more than suitable for a long weekend away.
On the exterior it features a distinctive tech pod. Inspired by their Mod line, this space neatly organises, protects and makes accessible all your key travel gear while still keeping them secure. Each Voyager is handcrafted to order by heritage leatherworkers in Downtown Los Angeles, so it’s of the upmost quality.
The Voyager measures 17 x 12 x 7 inches which works out at just over 25 litres – 26.27, to be exact. That means 3-5 days of gear can be packed into it no problem. The external pocket will fit any laptop up to the size of an 11″/12″ MacBook and the main compartment offers more space and can take up to a 15″ MacBook Pro.
In options of Bomber, Navy, Charcoal or a limited edition French Grey, the This Is Ground Voyager bag will set Joes back around £600 ($900) with Wifi and £480 ($725) without. Shipping currently takes place within three weeks of your order. Head over to the Voyager Website for more details.
