Following on from their 2014 film ‘Give Me Your Classics’, Reebok, The Rig Out and RSA Films have teamed up again for the next indie film in the series called ‘This Is The Start of Something’. This time around Reebok take their Classics heritage story to the other side of the Atlantic.

It’s the 25th anniversary of the Reebok Ventilator and the short film focuses on the iconic OG make-up, set in the urban metropolis of Manhattan, New York City. It tells a story of opportunity, possibility and new beginnings, reliving the brand’s development in the States during the early 90’s. The film depicts a young male adult from the North of England and his journey through adulthood, as he develops his identity and a sense of belonging to the community he now calls ‘home’.

It’s pretty inspirational and is created with an aspirational ethos that is reflected in Reebok Classic’s heritage as a pioneering product brand, celebrating the past, present and future of British youth culture.
