adidas Originals Manchester United Apparel

There are many teams represented here at Average Joes HQ with West Ham, Norwich, Tottenham and the only team in London to win a European Cup, Chelsea, all supported by at least one our writers. But while none of us have much love for Manchester United, we can’t help but love the new adidas Originals MUFC Apparel Collection.
The new range comes in celebration of adidas’ new kit deal with the Mancunian football powerhouses which started for the 2015-2016 season. Other teams have of course had kits made by adidas but as United are one of the four biggest clubs on the planet, adidas seemed it necessary to release a whole range of apparel inspired by 80s sports gear.
The 1985 FA Cup final at Wembley v Everton is a reference point for a lot of the collection and is marked on apparel such as track tops in a collection which also references some of the most iconic United kits from the 80’s and 90’s which donned the three stripes.
adidas Originals have produced 11 pieces in total with the majority in United’s infamous Red with Black trim. Our favourite in the collection, however, comes in Green with the 85 Cup Goalie Jersey for £55.
United have had Nike and Umbro strips in recent history but the three stripes always does football garments better than anyone. We just wish this sort of collection would be released for our clubs! You can get hold of the adidas Originals MUFC Apparel Collection from the Size? Website.
