adidas is celebrating its 70th birthday this year, and quite frankly they’ve been killing it in the boots department. Alongside a special edition of the famed COPA, they also released a special Predator last week, designed by David Beckham and Zinedine Zidanne. The celebrations are rolling into April too with the unveiling of the ‘Virtuso Pack’.
With only a handful of fixtures left, the ‘Virtuso Pack’ is set to be worn by some of the game’s best player until the end of the season. The vivid collection sees the Predator, COPA, Nemeziz and X all receive a splash of colour on their clean white canvases and is aimed at football’s most creative players.
The laceless Predator 19+ is the first boot in the collection and is set to be worn by the likes of Paul Pogba and Mesut Ozil. It features blue branding on the Three Stripes, forged Primknit ridges and speckled graphics across the Primeknit collar construction.
The leather COPA 19+ is probably the most clinical silhouette in the pack and features an all-white upper with green on the Three Stripes instep and heel, while the X 18+ comes with bolts of electric yellow across the upper.
The collection is wrapped up by the Nemeziz 18+, the boldest of the collection and set to be worn by Lionel Messi. Created for unplayable agility, these boots feature a pink pattern on the upper and have a unique bandage construction that provides both compressive support and complete flexibility.
All available in laceless and laced editions, check out the full adidas Football ‘Virtuso Pack’ over at the adidas Website.
Last week, Nike announced their latest ‘mash-up’ kit, celebrating their successful 6 year-partnership with Manchester City FC.
