adidas Yeezy American Football Boots
If you’re into your NFL and caught any of the curtain raisers this weekend, the more keen eyed among you may well have noticed something special on three the feet of American Football’s biggest players. And that’s some pairs of specially designed adidas Yeezy boots, no less!
Yes, the Denver Broncos star linebacker and Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller, wore a brand spanking new pair of Yeezy designed cleats for Thursday night’s season opener against the Carolina Panthers. And guess what? Miller’s Boost 750 boots are things of beauty, featuring the classic strap, a perforated toe vamp and the same clean colourway as the original 750.
There had been rumours knocking around for a while that the Three Stripes and Yeezus had been planning on delving into match ready footwear for a while, but many weren’t expecting it until 2017 at best.
But Miller wasn’t the only NFL player the to get a pair courtesy of adidas and Kanye West; Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins also debuted the Turtle Dove adidas Yeezy Boost 350 cleats against the Tennessee Titans and the Chicago Bears respectively on Sunday.
If we had to choose a pair, we’d go for the 350 inspired boots, but to be honest we’re not that fussy. Unfortunately, there’s no word on whether the adidas Yeezy American Football Boots will be made available to mere mortals just yet. But there are some rumours that adidas and Yeezy will be gracing basketball’s hardwood very soon… Keep an eye out over at the adidas Website.
