Ally Capellino x tokyobike Cycling Backpack
Whether you’re an avid cyclist or just find the ease of commuting too appealing to turn down, switching from your bike to the workplace in style can often be a struggle. Which is why we love the look of this collaboration between British designer Ally Capellino and Japanese bicycle company tokyobike.
The Ally Capellino x tokyobike backpack isn’t really a cycling bag but more a bag for cycling. While most other bags on the market value function over form, the Capellino x tokyobike backpack balances both.
It’s constructed to be ideal for cycling commutes. As such, it’s made almost entirely from a waterproof nylon exterior, so your important documents and laptop remain dry even when the inevitable rains come.
The bag features vegetable-tan leather straps and the main compartment of the bag can fit laptops up to 13” in size. There’s also the added features of a reflective strip and a loop for a cycle light which means that you can ride safely and still stylishly at any time of night.
Based on the concept of ‘Tokyo Slow’, tokyobikes are designed to be light to ride, with an emphasis on comfort over speed. Much like their bikes, the Capellino backpack fuses style and substance and is about enjoying the journey as well as the destination.
The Ally Capellino x tokyobike backpack for cycling comes in three colourways – Blue Gray, Ivory or Mustard – and is available from Wednesday 23rd March from Ally Capellino’s three London-based shops, Tokyobike London, New York and Tokyo, as well as the Ally Capellino Website for £145.
