As part of their ongoing Revival collection, Le Coq Sportif have once again delved into the archives to produce the BBR Made in France pack, consisting of two pieces of tennis wear from the 1970s catalogue – a tracktop and polo.
The BBR Revival pack is the latest in Le Coq’s ‘Made in France’ collection – a range of garments inspired by the French legends’ past glories, such as a collection based on the St Etienne team which reached the European Cup final in 1976. The new BBR (Bleu Blanc Rogue) range is each signed off with blue-white-red tricolour trim on the collar and sleeves.
The latest Made in France collection offers up two Le Coq Sportif tennis wear items from the brand’s 1970s’ catalogue. The tracktop, emblematic wear for the sports supporter, and the polo, the tennis player’s iconic item, have been re-released identical to the originals.
The Vasili Tracktop is a classic, clean all-White zipped sweatshirt. It comes complete with tricolour collar and cuffs, as well as two side pockets and one chest pocket. Of course, it naturally features the famed-flocked logo. It’s also been treated with a specific cotton for unrivalled comfort and wear.
The Venturin polo is made from piqué jersey for the perfect drape. True to the 1970s’ model, it’s again signed off with blue-white-red tricolour trim on the collar and sleeves and features a chest pocket as well as the Le Coq flocked logo.
The entire Le Coq Sportif collection is suitably Made in France, designed and developed at our Romilly-sur-Seine workshops in the Aube. The BBR Revival pack’s tracktop and polo is available now at the Le Coq Sportif Website where they’ll set you back £135 and £90, respectively.
