le coq sportif x Look Cycling Collection
We love a good collaboration here at Average Joes and one of the best cycling pairings you ever likely to find has just been announced by sportswear giants, le coq sportif, and cycling specialists, Look.
Featuring le coq sportif’s first ever hybrid performance cycling sneaker, the LCS x Look capsule collection is all about fusing performance and lifestyle. The two iconic French brands share sporting values in their respective fields and this technical cycling collection is a match made in heaven.
We all know about le coq but if you’re not familiar with the history Look Cycle, it’s fair to say their history is filled with innovation. Having invented clipless pedals, the first carbon frame in 1986, and the first single-shell carbon road frame, the independent brand have a reputation for their technical prowess on the bike and are the global leader in clipless road pedals.
The le coq sportif x Look capsule collection features four unique pieces – two garments and two pieces of footwear – each packed with unique touches from both brands. Our favourite piece from the collection is the LCS Look Tee, a 100% cotton t-shirt with Look’s signature coloured panelling.
The LCS Look Jersey is similar in design to the Tee but is designed for performance, while the Omicron and the Shifter XT, two new shoes from le coq sportif, are made of a mesh structure with a reflective logo and a neoprene sock, combining technical detail with comfort.
The le coq sportif x Look capsule will go on sale on the 15th October as a limited edition collection with only 86 pairs of the Omicron and the Shifter XT being produced. The collection will be on sale at Hanon and Solehaven, with prices ranging between £50 for the LCS Look Tee and £115 for the Jersey.
