New Balance Football: Visaro and Furon Boots Launched

The football boot market has become a little over-crowded of late with new boots and colourways being released on what seems like a weekly basis. You would be right in thinking that there wasn’t any room left for a new kid on the block, but let’s not rule that out just yet. Welcome New Balance (NB) to the football boot game with their all new Visaro and Furon boots.

The long established sports brand has launched the Visaro and Furon models under the make chances / take chances campaign. The first impressions of the new silos are good. We’re loving the colourways which feature a bolt/flame/white on the Visaro and white/flame/ocean on the Furon. It’s becoming more and more difficult not to like the stand-out colours that football boot manufacturers now feature on every new boot. But, make sure you check out the black version of the Visaro boots which look stunning – the traditional styling on a modern boot is brilliant.

The boots are aimed at the creative maestros and lethal finishers so if you play most of your football in the back four these aren’t really for you. The boots come in two widths which is a nice touch from NB. Many players can wear one brand comfortably but can’t wear another so this is a convenient and clever addition to the new boots.

With every football boot comes a host of professional players who are along for the global marketing campaign. NB have got Aaron Ramsey, Samir Nasri, Adnan Januzaj and Alvaro Negredo on board for the promo video. While these guys aren’t the biggest names in the game, its important to remember how new NB are to this market. These aren’t bad players to have wearing your product as you enter one of the toughest product markets around. We’ll hopefully get our hands on a pair shortly and provide a full review but for now you’ll have to check out the images and video below.
