Nike have just dropped their latest flagship boot, the Nike Hypervenom in Brazil – the Location of the next World Cup, and with the help of Barcelona bound ball magician Neymar.
The boot is designed to be a boot for a new breed of football player and comes with Nikes newest innovation NIKESKIN. The technology is designed to offer a player support and cushioning whilst providing a strong and robust upper. NIKESKIN layers Polyurethane skin over a mesh layer, and is supported by the company’s All Conditions Control technology which looks to offer the player the same level of control in both wet and dry playing conditions.
The Nike Hypervenom Football Boot comes with a whole host of other innovations looking to make it the most ergonomically designed boot ever. These include a lower boot profile, stud design and configuration in an effort to make turning, and changing direction easier than any boot before.
The hyper venom boots will initially hit the turf at the world famous Maracanã Stadium for the Brazil vs England game (which hosted the 1950 World Cup Final). Recently the stadium was given a massive facelift for next year’s competition so it will be the first official game to be played here since the rebuild. During the game the boots will be worn on the feet of global superstars Neymar and Wayne Rooney.
The Nike Hypervenom come in a rather fetching black and orange colourway, have Nike iD and customisation options, and the top end boot will retail for £170. Pre-order now at nike.com
