Nike MetCon II Trainers
For many of us, half of our January is spent in the gym working off the extra Christmas pounds. Following on from the game-changing MetCon 1, Nike have just announced the second iteration which continues to support workouts through the highest levels of competition. Take a look at the new Nike MetCon II.
Designed for maximum versatility to facilitate all training regimes, the MetCon II offers lightweight support and eliminates instability – particularly important for those Joes who like to hit the weights at the gym. With a flat out-sole, firm heel foam and a zero-drag heel, deadlifts have been made that bit easier with added steadiness for more reps, faster.
For deep lunges and twists which demand maximum flexibility, groves are positioned in the forefoot and flex foot of the MetCon IIgiving control. For many Joes, rope climbs form an essential part of a workout – the medial and lateral rope wraps allow feet to grip, clamp and climb. No more shoe shredding.
Added adaptability comes from the duel-density midsole and the Flywire technology in the mid-foot that wraps the arch and provides a locked-down fit to support rapid movements in any direction with strong, lightweight support.
The Nike MetCon II is now available at Nike Website and other select retailers, with just your sixteen colourways available. Prices start at £110 and for the first time, the trainers will also be available for customisation with NIKEiD beginning 23rd January.
