PUMA evoPOWER Football Boots

PUMA have launched their latest boot with a star-studded cast to help promote the all new PUMA evoPOWER Football Boot. Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas and Marco Reus all feature in the cinematic launch video (see below).
The new design is said to mimic barefoot kicking with a microfibre one-way stretchable upper which is supposedly meant to give you more power when striking ball. The new evoPOWER has been built with power and accuracy in mind for the modern attacking midfielder. PUMA have some high profile footballers representing the brand including Henry, Fabregas, Reus, Yaya Toure, and a certain Mr Balotelli.
Available from launch in a vibrant Fluo Peach-Ombre Blue-Fluo Yellow colourway (apart from Mario who will have whatever colour he wants) these will be seen gracing the pitches of Brazil for the 2014 World Cup.
The video depcits Fabregas and Reus breaking the net and the stadium during their testing phase, although we’re not sure they can actually kick the ball that hard. With barefoot becoming more and more popular with an increasing fanclub in running, will we see the technologies and trend moving over to football? Though I am sure the whole contact and metatarsal injury will rare it’s head once more with a potential lack of protection.
Available from: 2nd February 2014
