TAG Heuer Unveil New Smartwatch for Golfers
Combining advanced watchmaking technology with a passion for golf, TAG Heuer has just unveiled the Connected Modular 45 “Golf Edition”. Designed specifically with golfers in mind, the new smartwatch is linked to the TAG Heuer Golf app, which enables players get the most out of their rounds.
The TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 “Golf Edition” smartwatch combines a golf-inspired design and shock-resistant materials with the most personalised and advanced Golf app on the market. Alongside 3D renderings of more than 39,000 courses across the world, the smartphone-compatible app also offers comprehensive performance analysis before, during and after your round.
Design-wise, the 45 mm timepiece features a black ceramic bezel ring, which is laser engraved with a scale of 1 to 18 – indicating the 18 holes in a round of golf. The bold black ceramic lugs complements the sandblasted black PVD titanium case, while the watch is finished off with a white strap with green stitching.
The technology of the Connected Modular 45 is just as advanced as its design too. The touchscreen is covered with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, while also being equipped with multiple sensors, including GPS, NFC, an accelerometer, a gyroscope and a microphone. It also has a battery life of around 25 hours.
Available on iOS and Android smartphones, the watch comes with 512 MB of memory and 4 GB of storage. As well as all the golfing features, it can also perform all the usual smartwatch tasks, such as sending messages, receiving notifications, playing music and downloading other apps.
The TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 “Golf Edition” smartwatch is available to pre-order now over at the TAG Heuer Website, where it’s priced at £1,600. Deliveries are expected in early April 2019.
