Adobe Flash coming to Smartphones

At last, it seems that flash is coming to your mobile. Although apps allow you to watch youtube movies and the like, flash is currently not available for your normal smartphone browser to view other video sites, ads etc.

Well Adobe has just announced that a full version of flash will be hitting mobile devices soon. Starting with Windows Mobile and Palm Pre, then Symbian and Android and closely followed by Blackberry. Noticed I am missing someone?! Yes Apple it seems and still not willing to play ball and at present there is no news of flash coming to the iPhone or iTouch anytime soon.

Flash Player 10.1 will bring ‘uncompromised web browsing of expressive applications, content and high definition (HD) video to mobile devices, boosting graphic performance but without draining your battery.’

The software will also offer mobile-friendly support for multitouch, gesture controls and accelerometers and should be available via app stores, and your usual channels.
