Aedle ODS-1 Earphones
Following on from the success of their VK-1 headphones, French audio makers Aedle have just announced their latest model. With an emphasis on high-quality craftsmanship and audio performance, take a look at these elegant ODS-1 earphones.
The Aedle ODS-1 earphones, otherwise known as the ‘Odyssée’ earphones, are the latest in-ear creations by Parisian-based Aedle. Designed and assembled in their resident lab, the ODS-1 have the perfect size for a life on the go and a suitable amount of performance to make you rediscover your music.
Founded in 2011, Aedle is a young French house developed by Baptiste Sancho. Combining minimalistic and refined design with outstanding audio performance, the ODS-1 is a perfect example of the company’s signatures.
In each earpiece, a custom-made 10mm dynamic driver offers deep and natural lows, while not compromising on clarity on the highs. The earphones are intended to create that ideal balance between being able to pick up your environment in the background but still keep you immersed in your audio experience.
The ODS-1 is made from an aluminium shell, alongside the highest-quality Venetian Calf Leather. It features an MMCX detachable cable, and a remote and microphone which means the ODS-1 is fully compatible with an Android and iOS smartphone when you’re on the move.
With its acoustic chamber made of machined aluminium, the ODS-1 uses and enhances the material’s properties of being lightweight and durability. The hooks are coated with the hand stitched calf leather from Italy for maximum comfort and just a slice of sophistication.
The Aedle ODS-1 Earphones are available in three colours; Classic (Silver/Brown Leather), Legacy (Silver/Black Leather), and Eclipse (Black/Black Leather), with the first round of earphones limited to just 200 pairs and will begin showing up at high-end retailers such as Selfridges in London on the 21st November. Expect to fork out around £300 mark.
