Elon Musk’s The Boring Company Flamethrower Is Finally On Sale
Elon Musk’s The Boring Company has finally released its long-awaited flamethrower. Yes, you read that right – an actual flamethrower. The item was promised to fans of the Tesla CEO after the infrastructure and tunnel construction company met Musk’s goal of selling 50,000 ‘The Boring Company’ branded hats.
Available for pre-order now, The Boring Company Flamethrower is said to be modelled on the CSI S.T.A.R. XR-5 Airsoft Rifle and features a top mounted gas tank for a suitably sleek and futuristic design. The Boring Company aren’t completely irresponsible though, they’re also selling a branded fire extinguisher that comes with a ‘cool sticker.’
To celebrate the release of Flamethrower, Musk took to Instagram to show off how to use it. The Flamethrower has clearly caught on to with 1,000 units sold in the first three hours of sale according to Musk on Twitter. Another 2,000 were sold within 24 hours and that number reached 7,000 yesterday morning, meaning the product has easily cleared the $4 million mark by the time you’re reading his.
The Boring Company Flamethrower will be limited to just 20,000 units, so you’re going to need to head over to The Boring Company Website now if you want to get hold of one. It’s priced at around £355 ($500), while the Fire Extinguisher is being sold for around £20 ($30).
