KEF Launch New Compact LSX Loudspeakers
British loudspeaker pioneers KEF have just unveiled their new LSX compact speaker. Designed by KEF in collaboration with renowned designer Michael Young, the LSX high-resolution stereo is wrapped and finished in luxury fabric from famed Danish textile manufacture Kvadrat.
From streaming and gaming, to TV and multi-room music, KEF’s new LSX is a high-resolution stereo designed for all your home entertainment needs. With two speakers positioned apart from each other, KEF claim you’ll experience audio ‘as a 3D soundstage’ with pin-point imaging.
KEF achieve this through advanced acoustic design technology and their breakthrough Uni-Q driver array. By placing the tweeter at the centre of the midrange and bass cone, it radically improves stereo imaging. This not only makes music sound clear, detailed and lifelike, it does so across a wider listening area.
Connecting to Wi-Fi takes moments with the KEF Control app and it also keeps abreast of the latest firmware, so your speakers are always up to date. Spotify Connect and Tidal are built in, and the LSX also comes with Apple AirPlay 2 which, from a simple screen tap or request to Siri, unlocks the world of multi-room audio.
The LSX looks the part too. Clad in an industrial fabric by Danish contemporary textile designer, Kvadrat, the design was overseen by renowned product designer Michael Young. Everything from port accent colours to a colour changing LED were considered, with form and function perfectly balanced.
The KEF LSX speaker comes with a choice of five colours – Olive, Black, Maroon, Blue and Gloss White – and is available to buy now over at the KEF Website for £1,000.
